In an effort to further the safety of community members, Not Ok PDX has partnered with Jordan Guenther, certified USA boxing coach and founder of On Point PDX Training! Jordan has previous experience in the service industry and currently teaches self-defense classes at McConnell's Boxing Academy. Jordan will soon be offering service-industry specific self-defense courses, open to all participants of our SaferBars training! More details to be announced in the near future!
SELF-DEFENSE WITH ON TARGET
We are excited to announce Not Ok PDX is partnering with Townshend's Distillery to bring awareness to our SaferBars program!
During the month of July, 25+ Portland-area bars will be participating in Gin Rickey Month to help spread the word about the services we offer. Townshend's will be selling limited edition enamel pins with all profits donated directly to Not Ok PDX. The pins will be on sale at participating bars or you can contact Townshend's directly. GIN RICKEY MONTH!
July also marks the first SaferBars training for PDX Pop Now!. In an effort to increase safety at the event, we were asked to conduct a workshop by the folks responsible for organizing the festival this year. We're looking forward to hearing some great music at PDX Pop Now! which begins Saturday, July 21st and ends Sunday, July 22nd. Click here for the complete lineup!
