SaferBars is a bystander intervention workshop developed by bartenders, social workers and behavioral health clinicians in the Portland area.

Using role-play, group discussion, and short lecture, we train Portland-area, service-industry staff on the role alcohol consumption can take in instances of sexual violence, with an emphasis on how to identify predatory behavior and how to safely intervene.
